  • Noah's Ark

    "So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while." 1 Peter 1:6

    It's been super busy!  Couldn't get my thoughts together to post last week.  The washing machine just wouldn't leave me alone! ha!  Everytime I had a spare minute, I had to run to the laundry room rather than ponder my next post. 

    We're still clueless.  Still seeking the Lord in every area of our life.  We desire your prayers. 

    A friend shared something with me this week that is so fitting for our current circumstance.  She shared that life can be like Noah's Ark.

    When Noah and his family were on the Ark there was no rudder.  They weren't "going" anywhere, just kind of floating along.  But they were in a place of protection.  Floating along was God's will for them at that time.

    Have I ever got to stop trying to steer this "massive ark" in my life!  It's wearing me out and I'm not getting anywhere! lol

    Are you on the ark like my friend and I?  Be encouraged!  Be truly glad.  There is wonderful joy ahead. 

    I'll still be in the laundry room this week but instead of trying to steer the ark for God, I'll be pondering some posts and working on being truly glad.
