Quick and Easy Cookies
This is a great recipe for those days when you are short on time. The kids can help with this one, too!
Ingredients:
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (bars with precut squares or any cookie dough rolled into balls)
1 cup (6 oz.) Swirled Milk Chocolate and Peanut Butter Morsels (or any type of morsels you prefer)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 24 mini-muffin cups. Place squares of dough (or balls) into prepared muffin cups; press down to make a deep well or cup. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are set. Remove from oven. While still warm, fill cookie cups with morsels. Morsels will soften and retain their shape. Cool completely. With tip of knife, remove cookie cups from muffin pan.
For birthday/holiday parties, I've even baked the cookies as above. Cool completely. In place of morsels, I fill the well or cup with colored icing, using a decorator's tip to give it a pretty swirl or design. (Be sure the cookies are completely cooled or your pretty icing will melt into a liquidy mess.)
