"I'd like to be the ideal mother, but I'm too busy raising my kids." - Unknown

We all feel pressured to live up to the "perfect mother".  We think everyone else is the perfect mother.

I still laugh to myself when I remember participating in a women's bible study where we were assigned prayer partners.  I prayed to God that I wouldn't get stuck have the blessing of being paired with this one lady.  Anybody but her, God!  She was too perfect.  Really, who wants to be prayer partners with someone who's perfect?  Why does Mrs. Perfect need a prayer partner anyway?  Needless to say, she was my assigned prayer partner.

    You saw that coming?

Here's the kicker, she wasn't perfect.  She had problems.  Did that make me think less of her?  NO!  It made me love her more!  Seeing the real person, her true colors made her approachable and someone I could get close to.  Her true colors were beautiful.
