Go and Be Fruity
The fruit of the Spirit is love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Gal. 5:22
When we encounter God we believe but not just believe - we change. We're aren't the same anymore. We're becoming fruity. We talk a new talk. We walk a new walk.
God created us as unique creatures, He gifted YOU, yes you, uniquely, and he commissioned you to do one thing: to GO and BE fruity.
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” John 15:16
The fruit that we produce is not to be hoarded and enjoyed by us. We produce this fruit and bear it to a starving, malnourished world.
We have a God to serve. People to love. Work to do.
Thought is the blossom,
language the bud,
action the fruit behind.
- Ralph Waldo EmersonEven if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.

Excellent post! So in line with what has been on my heart lately. We've been going through Francis Chan's Crazy Love series at church and it has been so convicting and at the same time refreshing. When we come face to face with the all consuming love of God it WILL change our lives, our focus, ... everything. No more lukewarm.
Great post Mrs. Trent!
@inanorchard - Crazy Love is one of my all time favorites. We are doing the Basic small group at church that he put out. It's really great as well.
Awesome...I feel a smoothie comin' on! No really, this is encouraging for me in my totally dissatisfied with the way our church is state of mind! So, thank you!
