Life is Hard
Can I see a show of hands for those going through a hard time right now?
But seriously, don't we all go through hard times.
This is a hard time. I'm still feeling pregnancy awful, a yucky nasty ten day old cold has taken up residence in my chest and just won't let me loose from it's grip, homeschool in full swing, being a helpmeet to my husband during times of high stress... sometimes I can really get down on things. I’m really grateful to have encouraging friendships and family.
But life sure is hard.
Despite how hard everything is right now, I’m a pretty blessed girl. It’s hard to admit that things aren’t always going the way you want and that you’ve got worries and stresses. I so appreciate my friends and family. Family texting, friends emailing, nice people saying hello and “I really like your blog”, my sweet girls who do special things just to help mom out or to make mom feel better, and a lil' guy that never stops cheering me up acting out his stories no matter how many times I've heard/seen them.
Things are still hard. I’m still confused about life and how my kitchen gets so messy so quickly. But I just wanted to say, thank you friends/family for your kindness and encouragement. It means a lot.

Reminds me what beth moore said last wk at her conference about how God has created us for good company-no one was meant to be an island...we all need others. there's so much emphasis put on just needing God that we forget, wait a minute...He's the one who created relationships, and so often uses them to minister His love to us. i feel that way about my online sisters here..so grateful for each.
thanks for being open.. we all have our own hard for sure. that's why we've got to stick together and encourage one another through...:)
happy thursday. it's a chilly one here...
Sorry darlin'! I remember feeling so overwhelmed during my pregnancies. Every little chore, or decision seemed so huge! The kitchen was especially not fun
I'll say an extra prayer for you, keep you chin up, there's a beautiful little soul waiting at the end of this!
both of my hands are raised. may i put them down now?
you said your gratefulness so well. we need each other's encouragement. whether it be through uplifting words and/or helping hands, it really means the world.
breathing a prayer for feeling better...soon!
I will keep praying. You are very precious to come here and speak out about how difficult it is for you right now. God will honor that and bless you. So often we want to put on a front no matter what is happening on the inside. I have found out that the Lord loves us and blesses us even more when we confess that we are weak. May He give you strength and may His love be especially comforting to you right now. It is hard but I love where James says to count it ALL JOY for the KNOWING of His miracle of Grace and Mercy that is OURS will be made evident by our Faith.
Love reading here!
aw, I know about the kitchen and it's messiness. How can it happen so quickly but yet take tons of time to clean up?
I'm thankful for youtoo and your encouraging words on here! Life is hard but it helps when you have friends to point you upwards to Him
