Make It Yourself with stuff you already have!
It's Frugal Friday!
Money Saving Mom got me to thinking about Make-It-Yourself Projects. I love repurposing old, broken or even discarded items. Here are some awesome sites to give creative inspiration!
The Splash-Art Tablecloth is one of my favorite projects. My girls and I can't wait to make our own! Y'all know your kids would love nothing better than to stain up a tablecloth real good. That ketchup stain will blend right in.
Stuff made into other stuff! I love this -
Now, I know what to do with these.Christmas Make-it-yourself Countdown - It's not too early!
There's nothing better than frugal, except creating beautiful frugal! Me and my tribe have a lot of fun planned! Which project are you going to try?

Wow, those sites look awesome! I bookmarked the links. Thanks! You're right...never too early to get started on Christmas!
What a cute idea! Amazing what you can reuse huh? lol One blog I saw showed how to make a magazine holder out of a cereal box and material lol I think I might try it lol
I am new to blogging, so if I mess this up, excuse me, but I must say that your site is the most cheerful, happy site I have found yet! It looks like you must be the "fun mom" on the block! I will be watching you for more ideas and inspiration. . . ~~
Blessings!

@mom2fur - Instead of a few weeks of Christmas sales, you have months of sales to bargain hunt. Instead of a few weeks to make it yourself, you have months to make it yourself. Besides, it will be here before we know it.
@fourmyers - Hi, Rebecca. Welcome to my site. Put your feet up. Sip some tea. Stay as long as you like. Being a mom is hard work. I need encouragement. I need creative ways to make it fun. I need to give it my best because when it's over, it's over. I want my kids to grow up with many many happy memories. So, I hope that is what you find here. Do you take lemon with your tea?
You're absolutely right! Do you know that July 1st is the exact midpoint of this year? Which means that Christmas is barely 6 months away. I'm glad, too--maybe I'll actually finish the afghan I started to crochet for my son's apartment in time!
