  • Works For Me - Vista Print

My friend, Toni Jill, who makes boutique style hairbows for a very unboutique price, introduced me to Vista PrintWfmwbanner when she gave me one of her business cards.  When my husband needed business cards I told him to check them out.  He was able to get 250 business cards for FREE!  His only cost was the shipping.  I'm a fan of Vista Print.  But that's not the end of my Vista Print epic.

Every year (think ten years) we send out 100 Photo Christmas Cards.  It's a tradition that many of the great aunts and cousins now insist on.  It typically costs me anywhere from $50 to $100 depending on whether I use my own pictures or professional pictures.  This year a young lady photographer did our pictures for a sitting fee and gave us the copyright.  Vista Print did our 100 Photo Cards for ...drumroll please... $25!  Including Shipping!  I'm the president of their fan club.  Our photo card is above.  Yep.  I'm using it in my header.  I'm not cool that way.  The cards were less expensive and better quality.  They have a greeting printed on the back.  But I'm not finished.  $25 includes 100 cards, 100 envelopes, shipping ...drumroll please... 250 holiday address labels!  I  Vista Print!

They "Work For Me".  My cards will go out sometime next week.  Pretend you didn't see it on my blog, 'kay?

  • Those are so neat!  I've heard of VistaPrint, but never knew they did such classy work.  I'm definitely going to check them out.

  • Huh - did you by chance use a coupon code? When I went in they were a bit more pricey. I love your design and would love to do something like this for my family, but not at 0.40 per card. If you don't mind to email that would be great raje4 at yahoo dot com - thanks and HAPPY Thanksgiving.

  • @Rachel - They are still 50% off until Nov. 30th.  The price you saw is for 10 cards.  The more you order the less they are.  My price was for 100 cards - $22.49.  I also used their free shipping which takes longer.  You may have to pay extra for shipping depending on when you want them.  As a side note, I never buy online without doing a promotional code search just in case there are extra savings to be had.  example:  using my fave search engine, I'd type "Vista Print promo code".  You never know what will turn up.

  • @Susan - You really should!  They are great!

  • Wow, what a great price! Thanks for sharing.

  • I hope you don't mind if I copy you . I want to do some pictures for Christmas cards and wasn't sure what to do...thanks for the great idea!

  • Is the free shipping option gone?  I just looked it up and it was still going to cost me $6-$9 for shipping that could take up to 21 days...  (There were no slower options, not that I would want slower.)  Plus no free address labels?  Maybe this was a before Thanksgiving deal?

  • Oh, and I forgot to mention, they wanted to charge an extra $4.99 for a "collage upload fee".  Did you have that?  So strange that it could be so different...

  • @Melissa - I entered a new order just to see what happened and it worked out just the same as before.  The labels weren't free, they were half price which made them a couple dollars.  100 cards are 22.49 plus a couple dollars for the labels.  21 day shipping was free.  Maybe do a promo search for a code? See my comment above.  I ordered mine early so 21 day shipping wasn't a problem for me.  Also, you might contact them and ask for a promo code.  They were excellent to deal with.  I've loved everything they've done for my family.  I'm certain if you try them, you'll have the same experience.  (BTW, they don't know that I love them enough to blog about them.  I just can't keep good deals to myself, lol.)  The photocards at Walmart are a poorer quality (Although, they are still nice cards.  I've used them from time to time.) and $0.33 cents each.  Good Luck!  Maybe if it doesn't work out for this year, you can tuck this info away to try next year

  • I'm sorry to bother you yet again!  I found a good promotional deal, which was free shipping over $25, but, again, that was for the 21 day shipping.  Do you happen to remember if yours was actually 21 days?  I know sometimes sites estimate high, especially to get you to spend more on faster shipping...  Whether you remember or not, thank you for your help!

  • @Melissa - I can't remember for sure.  I'm thinking it was a couple of weeks.  You might call them and ask.
