  • Fear vs. Faith

    When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust;
    I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? Psalm 56:3-4
     
    Fear is the antonym of faith. It lurks around our life.  It leads us to distrust our Lord. Fear is subtle with its sneaky attacks on our attitudes.  It grows within the uncertain circumstances that come our way. 
     
    Faith foretells our future hope with God.  Faith dissolves doubts as the sun drives away the fog. 
     
    Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.  Hebrews 11:1
     
    Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.  1 Corinthians 16:13
     
    Setting aside fear, abiding in faith.
