  • Less Is More

It's true.  Less children equals more work.  You don't believe me do you?

Having big kids in the mix, makes life easier.  When I had one, I was her only playmate.  When I had a baby and a toddler, I was the toddler's only playmate and the baby's only caregiver.  Sometimes being both at the same time was challenging.  When the third came along, I had two littles that could happily play together and retrieve diapers, blankets, pacifiers, etc...  As life has progressed, I now have multiple individuals at any given time who can carry on a conversation.  Yes, we have moments of total chaos but mostly life is good.  Many hands make light work.  We all do a little, so we can enjoy a lot.

    Are you still doubting me?

"Maybe the term "terrible twos" was actually referring to the years of only two children? And maybe this is why so many couples only have two children. Because that is the hardest time of all."

My best advice, have the first three as quickly as possible.  It's smooth sailing after that....................except when it's not.
