  • It Is Well

    He speaks softly into my heart, "It is well."  Somehow I know it is. 

    Why is it?  I don't know.  Problems remain.  People suffer.  Hearts break.

    But if my heavenly father, in the midst of it all, says it's okay, then that's enough. 

    I can look around and find fear, or look at my father and find faith.

    I choose my father.  I choose faith.

  • we sang this song at church on sunday and it so ministered to me.. and again here! i love the story behind how it was written too - - such incredible faith and most of all - such a FAITHFUL Savior.

  • i think the verse that starts 'my sin o the bliss of this glorious thought ....' is one of the greatest verses to any hymn or song ever.
    i didn't know the part about them going on to jerusalem, either.
