It Is Well
He speaks softly into my heart, "It is well." Somehow I know it is.
Why is it? I don't know. Problems remain. People suffer. Hearts break.
But if my heavenly father, in the midst of it all, says it's okay, then that's enough.
I can look around and find fear, or look at my father and find faith.
I choose my father. I choose faith.

we sang this song at church on sunday and it so ministered to me.. and again here! i love the story behind how it was written too - - such incredible faith and most of all - such a FAITHFUL Savior.
thanks for sharing this.
@grace2be - I am so thankful for our faithful Savior! Thanks for the rec and for your sweet comment. Since your last post, I have prayed that you and your family will be surrounded by his faithfulness!
Such a nice post.waiting for more.
i think the verse that starts 'my sin o the bliss of this glorious thought ....' is one of the greatest verses to any hymn or song ever.
i didn't know the part about them going on to jerusalem, either.
and even though this is your friday post - happy saturday to you ~
