My rosette necklace inspiration came from Craftify It.  Go check it out for a thorough tutorial.  I used clear stretch cord instead of thread for my necklace.  I premade my rosettes before threading them onto the stretch cord by stitching my rosettes as I rolled  them for extra hold.

Thanks for the inspiration Staci! I'm loving Craftify It!

  • That turned out beautiful!

  • @inanorchard - Coming from someone who's skills are far greater than mine, I really appreciate it!

  • @TrentTribe - Oh pish-aw You've totally got the creative blood coursing through your veins!  I love seeing what you come up with!

  • love this. i've been finding all kinds of diy stuff all over the internet on craft sites...and i'm just itching to get at them. however, being a perfectionist its hard to get started cause i'm afraid it won't turn out. however i should rather embrace the idea of having a 'unique' piece if it doesn't turn out perfect.

i LOVE the colors that you chose. what are you going to wear it with? i can't imagine how great it feels to wear something you made!! way to go!

  • @mytoesareblue - This is such a versatile project.  Different colors and sizes of ric rac.  Different colors and types of beads.  I dare say no two pieces anyone makes would be the same.  Very unique.  I chose red because it goes with lots of stuff in my closet.  I liked the monochromatic.  Not sure why.  I am excited to experiment with other colors and patterns, though!  Will def make this one again.

  • so neat!  You find the coolest ideas!

  • Thanks for sharing the link! I'll have to check it out. My oldest daughter would love to try something like that.
