Rosette Necklace
My rosette necklace inspiration came from Craftify It. Go check it out for a thorough tutorial. I used clear stretch cord instead of thread for my necklace. I premade my rosettes before threading them onto the stretch cord by stitching my rosettes as I rolled them for extra hold.
Thanks for the inspiration Staci! I'm loving Craftify It!

That turned out beautiful!
@inanorchard - Coming from someone who's skills are far greater than mine, I really appreciate it!
@TrentTribe - Oh pish-aw
You've totally got the creative blood coursing through your veins! I love seeing what you come up with!
love this. i've been finding all kinds of diy stuff all over the internet on craft sites...and i'm just itching to get at them. however, being a perfectionist its hard to get started cause i'm afraid it won't turn out. however i should rather embrace the idea of having a 'unique' piece if it doesn't turn out perfect.
i LOVE the colors that you chose. what are you going to wear it with? i can't imagine how great it feels to wear something you made!! way to go!
@mytoesareblue - This is such a versatile project. Different colors and sizes of ric rac. Different colors and types of beads. I dare say no two pieces anyone makes would be the same. Very unique. I chose red because it goes with lots of stuff in my closet. I liked the monochromatic. Not sure why. I am excited to experiment with other colors and patterns, though! Will def make this one again.
so neat! You find the coolest ideas!
Thanks for sharing the link! I'll have to check it out. My oldest daughter would love to try something like that.
