  • More Blogging Birthday and a Frugal Refresher

    My blog is three years old.  To celebrate, I'm having a giveaway.  Hurry and comment so you'll be entered to win.  Giveaway closes at midnight. 

    I've been looking back through my blog posts.  It's really neat to see how the kids have grown.  When I started my blog, my purpose was to have a place to record "the stuff" of my life. 

    I want to remember the things that happen from day to day.  Trent Tribe is my online journal.   

    One of the interesting things about looking back is to see the frugal strategies I've tried.   

    My three faves:

    1.  I still order my glasses here and I LOVE them!  Search for a promo code before you order. 

    2.  Speaking of promo codes, I always search for a promo code before I order online. 

    3.  Be patient.  There is always a better deal.

  • Sounds like I'm a bit like you, I always look for a promo when I order and usually wait around for the best deal I can find.  Always pays off...pun intended ;)

  • What a neat idea about using your blogging as a journal of what your family has done and how they have grown. Have you ever seen those books they make out of the pages from a blog? I always thought that would be neat. I printed out some of my articles and took them to Staples and had them make them into a book with a spiral binding and gave them to my children.
