  • Picnicing with the Chief

    The Chief planned a picnic lunch for us last week.  (He also demonstrated the many uses of spanish moss.)

    Not even rain could dampen our spirits. (Sun and rain simultaneously.)

    After all, the picnic shelter was covered and our sandwiches were saved from sogginess!  Picnic success.

  • Aww! I want to go on a picnic! We've been eating almost all our meals on our back porch but it sounds like fun to GO somewhere and eat:)

  • ahhahaha--love Brian's hair! Picnics are one of my favorite things. When winter comes I have a carpet picnic in my living room. I lay out a blanket & we chill, eat picnic food & watch our favorite movies.

  • my family goes on a picnic every Easter and some years is been a very interesting experience. one year it was so cold that our hands froze trying to eat our sandwhiches, one year there was snow so we had it on our kitchen floor, and several times we've had it in a covered picnic area. looks like a grand time.... i'm so glad that its finally picnic season!!!

  • I can't WAIT to go on picnics!!!  Our food would freeze and blow away if we went today!!!
    Soon though, very soon. We did do a backyard picnic on the one nice day we had this spring. lol

    Your day looks like LOTS of fun!  Love the spanish moss..I bet you guys were laughing at the cheif.

  • @TrentTribe - that's great you do one each month. I try to do one each season and actually the one I have up is from last spring/summer so you can tell I'm not on the ball with it ;)
