  • Baby high? Baby low?

    Late Monday evening, the baby was moving all over.  Suddenly, he made this very BIG movement I can't even describe.  Now the baby feels much lower.

    Last week (32 weeks).  Baby high?

    This week (33 weeks).  Baby low?

    So, what do you think?  Have any of you mommies felt your baby drop weeks before your due date?

  • That's interesting because my midwife is adamant that babies don't drop until right before labor after the 1st couple of pregnancies.  For me that has been true, I haven't dropped until I'm actually IN labor.

    I'm sure the breathing room is much appreciated!

  • Cute top! I know that alot of people drop before they're due, but not this early! Maybe this drop is an initial one and you'll drop "for reals" when it's time to give birth. OR, your due date is way off.

  • @Sevenofus - @Richgem - @foreveranoatneygirl_n2Hisown - My babies have never dropped before labor (even the first).  This was a very odd experience.  I was concerned about premature labor for a day or so but nothing new going on.  Perhaps he just settled into position.  :)  

  • @foreveranoatneygirl_n2Hisown - Thank you!  So you have experienced baby dropping early?  Tell me more.  This is the first time I've had this happen pre-labor. 

  • i carried all of my babies low. and dropping early? that was me too. my boys all came early as well, by three or more weeks. but my little sarah was only a week and a half before my date. which is funny. because she is thirdborn out of four. ooops. just tripping down memory lane here a bit...

  • @down_onthefarm - Thank you!  I'm curious to see if this lil' guy arrives early.  My typical has been right up to the due date or even post due date.  Things have been going very different this pregnancy.  Thanks for sharing your insight.  :)

  • thanks for being so gracious. :) i realized after writing how many sentences, that you weren't asking for my history! hahaha. but i had fun remembering...and thought that you are the kind of gal friend that would totally be okay with that. happy thursday!

  • I don't see the change in his position.  But if I was there, I'd say you need to be resting.  That boy will be a giant!!

    You look totally adorable, so CUTE!!

    I can't wait to 'meet' him.
