  • It's a Wonderful Life

Christmas threw up all over my house.

But what's not to love about soft lights and pretty sparkley things?

Last week found us in Virginia visiting family for Thanksgiving.  These are "my" mountains.  The mountains I grew up seeing everyday.

Our family and friends always bless us abundantly.  It's wonderful to be loved on and fussed over for a few days.  A few baby and Christmas gifts found their way back home to SC with us too.  Um, "a few" might be an understatement.  The suburban was packed out.

Speaking of baby, I had an ultrasound.  Check out "fat cheeks".

And what's Christmas without a Christmas Playlist?

  • I love the tree, it looks great.  When hubby was working, we moved around every few years.....I have always wanted to live in the mountains in W VA.  Probably won't happen but I can always dream, eh?  Yes, the suburban looks pretty full.    I absolutely love the chubby baby cheeks.   All my grands had those chubby cheeks!!

  • Beautiful baby ultrasound,  just amazing you can see the face so clear.  and the pudgy cheeks could not be sweeter!

  • How Fun!
Quote from my husband a little while ago.."Our house is under Christmas construction".
Hopefully I'll be finished soon! =)  Love this season.
Your mountains are beautiful. Your baby is adorable.
    Happy Monday to you. =)

  • aww! look at that sweet face! i'm sure you're so anxious!
    love the Christmas playlist!!!!

  • you're baby is so cute!
We haven't started any Christmas decor yet.  If you walked into our house you'd think it was still fall :)   I don't know if we'll do much this year either since we don't have any parties planned so far and we don't have anyone coming for Christmas.  It's so much work and if not many will see it why go to the trouble.

  • @oldfatgramma - From our part of Virginia we could be in West Virginia in a little over an hour.  There is a beautiful state park that is in both Virginia and West Virginia.  It's called the Breaks.  It is one of our faves!

@frathousecook - This is our first baby to have 3D ultrasound.  I am so amazed!

@Elizabethmarie_1 - Haha!  At least he said construction and not "destruction".  Sometimes it feels more like destruction to me.  ;)   Happy Tuesday to you!  :)

@foreveranoatneygirl_n2Hisown - Thank you!  We are very anxious to meet him.  36 weeks this week!  :)

@redladybug18 - All the little people in our house get in a hurry to pull out the Christmas decor.  :)   You never know, the Christmas "mood" just might hit you too.  ;)
