  • Clueless. Just clueless.

    "There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand."  Proverbs 19:21

    In the past few weeks, we've found ourselves scratching our heads, absolutely clueless.  Our journey has taken many many unexpected turns.  Every time we think we've caught a glimpse of where we're headed, ummm yeah, that's not where we're headed.  Through it all, God is faithful.  Although I can't see the path ahead of us, I know God is in control.  

    Many are the roads that are before us. Many are the questions that we may have. He knows how to direct us.

    We read that though a man may make many plans and thoughts that seem right, at the end it is the will of the Lord that will stand. It is the Lord that directs our steps.  Thank goodness, because I'm clueless.  Just clueless.

  • Good post! I'm right there with 'ya sista!   I have no idea where we're headed. But, then, did we ever?

    I've been meditating on the Lord being MY Shepherd. I mean really wanting to grasp that HE LEADS me beside still waters.. He directs my path.. He calls and I hear His voice,etc.

    Nancy Leigh DeMoss had a good series on that recently at Revive Our Hearts. I've been enjoying it!

  • @georgene - You are exactly right, Georgene.  If we are truly following his leading it doesn't matter where we're going, does it?
