Homemade Reese's Bars
This delish recipe comes from our friends, the Houston's.
Using your hands (except I used our electric mixer), mix 12 oz. of peanut butter, 1 lb. box of powered sugar and 1 1/2 sticks of very soft butter and smooth it out into a 8x8 in. pan. (You will know its ready to be smoothed out when it quits sticking to your fingers or in my case the beaters.) Melt 6 Hershey's chocolate bars. Spread melted chocolate on top and put into the frig until the chocolate hardens.
Oh. My. Goodness. This is some yummy stuff.
(As soon as the fast was over I broke out this recipe. lol)

I made a similar recipe but make them into balls and then drop them in chocolate. It makes a candy. This looks very yummy.
@georgene - You can def do the same thing with this recipe but there is just something about that layer of chocolate across the top. Mmmm...
those look so yummy! I'm going to have to try them sometime!
