Ah, Joie de Vivre! The Joy of Life!
One of the most life-enhancing abilities we can develop is the process of enjoying the journey. We sometimes forget that life is the journey and the journey is life. The French call it joie de vivre - the joy of living. The Italians express it as nienta sense gioia - nothing without joy. To the Greeks, it's kefi - the spirit of joy, passion, enthusiasm, high spirits. Whatever we're doing, let's do it for the joy.
Psalm 118:24 - "This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

i recently read somewhere where it said the verse says to be glad "in" it. no matter what happens today, if we have our hearts set on God then we can be glad/content no matter what. its a wonderful thing to strive for and i try every day. it is a great reminder, here on earth ,today is all we have--karen
